About Me

I'm Mukesh Gupta, a Member of Technical Staff III (MTS-III) at Cohesity, specialising in distributed storage, data protection, and cloud-native backend platform development. Over a decade, I've built and shipped enterprise-scale features at Cohesity and Veritas Technologies.

My work spans the full engineering lifecycle — from architecture exploration and multi-vendor API integration to customer POC delivery and hotfix turnaround under aggressive timelines. I've worked deep in storage systems (NAS/SAN), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and microservices infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka).

I enjoy working at the intersection of systems programming and backend engineering — whether that's bridging C SDKs into Python with ctypes, designing snapshot-diff frameworks backed by SQLite, or debugging multi-OS concurrency issues across Linux, Solaris, and AIX.
