I'm a Member of Technical Staff III at Cohesity. Most of what I do lives where systems programming meets backend engineering: teaching a backup product to speak the language of storage arrays from NetAppPure StorageDell EMCQumulo, bridging C SDKs into Python, and shaping how snapshots and replication move data reliably — on-premise and into AWSAzure.

The interesting part is rarely the API call. It's understanding what makes each system tick — and turning that into something dependable that ships. This site is a short tour of that work and how I think about building it.
